What's the catch with the free plan?
There isn't one. Free is permanent — one artist, five active projects at a time, your public booking link, and card deposits with no percentage taken. It's capped on volume, not crippled on features. When you outgrow the cap, Artist is $25/mo or $250/yr and Studio is $60/mo or $600/yr, with a 14-day trial. That $25 is the real monthly price, not a headline rate that only applies if you commit to a year upfront. Never a percentage of what your clients pay you, on any plan. If Free is really free, how do you make money?
From Artist and Studio subscriptions once your volume outgrows Free's caps — never from a cut of your deposits or your clients' payments, on any plan. A booking link that can't take a deposit is just another Google Form; making Free genuinely capable is what gets it into a new artist's Instagram bio, which is worth more to us than the small percentage we're choosing not to take. Do I need to install anything for my clients?
No. Clients book, upload references, approve designs, and pay through a link in their browser — nothing to download.
Can I still take walk-ins and cash payments?
Yes. You can log a walk-in client, project, and cash payment yourself in a few taps, no online booking required.
Is the waiver legally binding?
Every waiver is signed and time-stamped the moment your client submits it, so you have a clear record of what was agreed and when.
What if I run a shop with multiple artists?
Each artist gets their own booking link and calendar. Shop owners get a view across everyone's projects and bookings.
How do payments work?
Card payments run through your own Stripe account, so you're the merchant of record and Stripe's normal processing rate is the only fee — we add nothing on top, on any plan including Free. You can also record cash or e-transfer payments yourself.
